Why Will 2026 Tournament Be Different

This World Cup won’t just be bigger, it’ll be historic.

Three countries. Sixteen cities. One shot to be a part of football history. The 2026 World Cup isn’t just coming to North America. It’s taking over.

From the bright lights of MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, to the massive stage at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, to the glitz of SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the world’s best will battle it out in venues American sports fans already know and love. Add in cities like Atlanta, Miami, Kansas City, Seattle, and Philadelphia, and you’ve got a coast-to-coast festival of soccer unlike anything this country has ever hosted.

BE THERE.

Your ticket to a once-in-a-lifetime experience is waiting! Don’t just watch it happen...

QUAIFIERS

The road to 2026 is already underway. From Africa to Asia, Europe to South America, qualifying matches are being played between now and early 2026. Each confederation has its own format, but the end result is the same: a battle for limited spots at the biggest tournament on earth.

While the host nations, USA, Mexico, and Canada, are automatically qualified, every other country must earn its way in. The qualifiers are where incredible stories often begin: small nations upsetting giants, regional rivalries intensifying, and lifelong dreams being made or shattered before the tournament even starts.

THE DRAW

Before the World Cup kicks off, FIFA will hold a draw ceremony, likely in late 2025 or early 2026. This event determines who plays where, setting up the group matchups that shape the entire tournament.

Teams are divided into “pots” based on their world ranking and regional balance rules, then drawn into groups one by one. For fans, the draw is its own spectacle: watch parties, instant debates, and endless predictions about who got the “group of death.”
